~Spiritual Sundays~ Jesus Paid It All~

To be inspired every Sunday, visit Spiritual Sundays!

We all have debts or have had them. They weigh on us, are like a huge burden that we bear. Some of us complain all the time about our debts and burdens, others try to hide them, but no matter how we deal with them, they are there, until we get them paid off. Every time we sin, make a mistake, do anything wrong, that becomes a burden to us, we owe others and ourselves forgiveness. It weighs heavily upon us until we make it right.
But with out Christ and His death on the cross, we would have to bear all our sins all alone, Forever! What a an amazing gift God gave when he sent Christ to pay our debt! What an amazing love and power of forgiveness, mercy and compassion!
With Easter approaching I hope everyone thinks a lot about the price Christ paid for us, and that He paid a debt He did not owe, when we had a debt we could not pay! Praise His Name!

Here are two very inspiring songs that I hope you enjoy this Sunday!

"He Paid a Debt"
(Writer unknown to me)

Chorus
He paid a debt he did not owe,
I owed a debt I could not pay.
I needed someone to wash my sins away.
And now I sing a brand new song,
"Amazing Grace" all day long,
Christ Jesus paid a debt that I could never pay.

Chorus 2
He paid a debt at Calvary,
He cleansed my soul and made me free,
I'm glad that Jesus did all my sins erase;
I now can sing a brand new song,
"Amazing Grace" all day long,
Christ Jesus paid a debt that I could never pay.

Chorus 3
One day He's coming back for me
To live with Him eternally,
Won't it be glory to see Him on that day!
I then will sing a brand new song,
"Amazing Grace" all day long,
Christ Jesus paid a debt that I could never pay."

"Jesus Paid It All"
Words: Elvina M. Hall, 1865.
Music: John T. Grape

"I hear the Savior say,
“Thy strength indeed is small;
Child of weakness, watch and pray,
Find in Me thine all in all.”

Refrain

Jesus paid it all,
All to Him I owe;
Sin had left a crimson stain,
He washed it white as snow.

For nothing good have I
Whereby Thy grace to claim,
I’ll wash my garments white
In the blood of Calv’ry’s Lamb.

Refrain

And now complete in Him
My robe His righteousness,
Close sheltered ’neath His side,
I am divinely blest.

Refrain

Lord, now indeed I find
Thy power and Thine alone,
Can change the leper’s spots
And melt the heart of stone.

Refrain

And when before the throne
I stand in Him complete,
I’ll lay my trophies down
All down at Jesus’ feet."
