God's Hand in Motherhood

Okay, as usual, I am late writing! Sorry!

This evening, I have been thinking about God's hand in motherhood.

We see how God gave woman a body, to bring forth, into this world, a tiny baby, that He so caringly formed in her womb! A tiny seed that He choose to give life and grow into a child that that mother can hold in her womb and in her arms! It is as if God is such a part of the womans body, that He holds the babe, within her, in the very plam of His mighty Hands! How God must smile with a mother, as the baby kicks and strecthes within his safe little home, inside his mother, in the all powerful care of his loving God! Only a great and wonderful Creator could have made such a plan as this! How breathtaking! God has made her body, so that it grows for the baby, feeds the baby and makes ready to feed the baby once he arrives in this new big world. And when it is time for the baby to be brought out of the mothers womb, God has given her a body to bring forth this child!
Through the Bible, we read how God opens the barren womb and closes wombs, we are in awe of the virgin birth of His only Son, we see read His care in how He wanted to take Jerusalem up under His wing. So many times we see how our Great God who made us, is the loving Heavenly Father, who loves us, with the most perfect love of a father and mother. Because he made both, and gave both, each their special differences, He knows the complete make up of each and made the love of each in their own special way! How wonderful and amazing! God is soo Good!

I will never forget the pregnancies and births of our two girls.
With the first, I often worried about things that I heard, the what if's and could happens that everyone hears of! To drive my fears away, God put a song in my heart and mind, "God is so Good", the childrens song! Whenever thoughts started to creep into my mind, I would sing the song or think it in my mind instead! What peace it brought!
The feeling of a miracle and blessing from God was so real to me through both pregnancies and births! I do not see how Anyone can be with child and not be in awe and see the hand of God at work! It is so humbling to me, to see His blessing, the fruit of the womb, working in me! To watch your belly grow, to feel the small moves grow bigger, and how he plans the births out, in His own way!
What wonder! What a Mighty God we serve! Praise His Holy Name! Yes, Praise Him for all things He does for us and think upon His wonderful works!

"For You formed my inward parts;You covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.
My frame was not hidden from You,When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed.And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, When as yet there were none of them."
Psalm 139:13-16

"Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD,
The fruit of the womb is a reward.
4 Like arrows in the hand of a warrior,
So are the children of one’s youth.
5 Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them;
They shall not be ashamed,
But shall speak with their enemies in the gate."
Psalm 127:3-5

"Then it shall come to pass, because you listen to these judgments, and keep and do them, that the LORD your God will keep with you the covenant and the mercy which He swore to your fathers. And He will love you and bless you and multiply you; He will also bless the fruit of your womb and the fruit of your land, your grain and your new wine and your oil, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flock, in the land of which He swore to your fathers to give you."
Deuteronomy 7:12&13
