If you are a mom, you know children love bags, purses, baskets, and buckets and just anything that they can put stuff in and that is neat for them to carry! My children love bags and purses! They love carry things in them, or just carrying them empty!
When I first saw the "Snack-A-Long" reusable snack bags at Moja Creations, I knew my children would love them! =)
They are perfect for the children to put their favorite snacks in to take along with them, when we are going somewhere, or they are just running around the house or out side!
The "Snack-A-Long" reusable snack bags at Moja Creations, are perfect for school snacks/lunches, picnics, packing a lunch or snack for taking to work, etc!
They save you from having to buy plastic bags that you will have to throw away or buy more of! And they hide your food, and hold it pretty safe!
Moja Creations has tons of "Snack-A-Long" designs to pick from!

I like the "Lil' Princess Kingdom" (below), and the "giraffe garden", "outer space", "owls in chocolate", "pink cupcakes" and "camo lizard", "Snack-A-Long" snack bags! So cute!!

MojaCreations also has some neat cloth napkins that children will love! And again, these are eco-friendly and your children can use them for years! Make great gifts!

Moja Creations has "Wrap-A-Longs" too! These may be better for your "bigger" children, yourself and to pack hubby a sandwich!

I think these make a very "showy" way to pack your food! And instead of a pile of plastic lunch boxes, etc. you can toss them in the washer machine and they do not take up much space! Another plus for keeping in the kitchen drawer!

I think the "Reversible Coffee cup Sleeves" are sooo neat and cute! I know a lot of people who would love these! Once again great gift ideas at Moja creations! Especially with Christmas coming up! The "Snack-A-Longs", "Wrap-A-Longs", and the "Reversible Coffee cup Sleeves" are the perfect stocking stuffers!
Moja Creations has some "Lunch-A-Long" kits already put together for $18 or you could do one of each of the "Snack-A-Longs", "Wrap-A-Longs", and the "Reversible Coffee cup Sleeves" for about $19!!! So a very affordable and useful gift! My kind of gifts!;)

What inspired the name of your Etsy store?
- Choosing the name of our Etsy store was so tough at first! You want to pick the 'perfect' name and its so hard to come up with just that. I enlisted the help of a friend after deciding to sell my items on Etsy and we came up with fun sounding words and Moja just sounded motivating and upbeat. When we realized those 4 letters were our first and middle initials put together we decided it was the perfect idea!

What inspired you to open your Etsy store?
- I always said I wanted to start a business so after finishing college I had a year off before beginning medical school and thought that was my opportunity! From the start I wanted to create items that were useful but ecofriendly at the same time since so much effort is being placed on saving our planet. Having worked with children for quite some time I thought of the snack bags and just knew that was it! Everyone thought I was a bit crazy but within days we were selling like crazy!

Would you like to share a little bit about yourself?
- I am a 24 year old from Florida, currently a 2nd year medical school student working my way to becoming a Pediatrician/Neonatologist, which I now know is a TON of work! Outside of studying I love spending my time working with my fiancee on all the items for our Etsy store and using my creative side to come up with fun new projects to work on!

Anything else you would like to share with us?
- I just want to thank everyone who is doing their part in making our planet a better place to live! There are so many ways to make small changes these days from buying a reusable water bottle to recycling newspapers that it's hard not to join in. We are so happy to play a part by offering our ecofriendly items in all our fun fabrics :-)

What inspired the name of your Etsy store?
My Etsy shop is the same name of our company, which is Capricorn Soap Company - even though we don't just make soap. :-)

What insipred you to open your Etsy store? We have sold wholesale and private label for a long time, but wanted to get some exposure for our own brand, as well. So we (hubby and I) decided to try Etsy to test the response. It has been great so far!

Would you like to share a little bit about yourself? A little about me - hmm...well, we're really a team. I (Christina) create the products, and my husband Tim is the concept brain behind it all. We both do sales and marketing. We're both visual artists in our free time, and Tim is also a self-employed architect and furniture designer. I've personally tried my hand at a lot of different professions (studied foreign languages in college) but never found anything that I wanted to do until I started making personal care products and home luxuries. Now I'm hooked. :-)

Anything else you would like to share with us? For those artisans looking to become financially independent and who are trying to build their business: don't give up. Keep going forward. Be professional. Eventually, it pays off. :-)

I just love the Cutlery Wraps! These look so vintage and would love them for my table! They would be so great for serving guest! And for giving as gifts! TheStraightStitch has some new cutlery wraps that look so fresh and pretty for spring and summer and great for children's silverware too!

If you are a mom or dad, you will know how important it is to have those old grocery bags handy when you are out and about, out playing at the swimming pool or river, have an accident and all the wet/soiled clothing has to come off! Well, how about not having to worry about the plastic grocery bags? TheStraightStitch has completely waterproof wet bags! These look Great! I love the idea of not having to use so many plastic bags and being able to wash the bag with the wet/soiled clothes!


I was able to review the great and unique Enviro Lunch bag sets! I just love mine and so do my children! These are great for packing your favorite healthy snacks and sandwiches, easily washable and the velcro holds tight to keep the food secure in the bag.

Besides the design of bags that I got (blue with fruit on them!), I like the pink camo, Safari, and Hula enviro lunch bags sets!

What inspired the name of your Etsy store?
"The Etsy store was named out of a love of simplicity and functionality. I wanted a name that said "no-nonsense, just good quality functional baby gear". By keeping things simple I am able to keep my prices low.

What insipred you to open your Etsy store? I started my Etsy store when friends and family started asking me to make them versions of things I had made for my own children. I realized, if they liked and wanted to buy the things that I had made, other might want to as well.

Would you like to share a little bit about yourself?
I am an enthusiastic outdoors lover, a lover of all things handmade and, while I wouldn't call myself crafty, others might! I've been at home full time with my 2 hilarious girls for 4 years now, neither of them is in school yet so I do all of my work at nap/after bedtime.

Anything else you would like to share with us?
I have a strong commitment to the environment and try to base the business around that. My products are designed as plastic alternatives, and alternatives to the disposable lifestyle, but I also work a lot with reclaimed and upcycled materials. In that way, I am able to breathe new life into items that are no longer useful. In addition to this, by creating everyday items in Canada and providing them at a low cost, I am able to provide consumers with alternatives to big box stores and overseas manufacturing.

By buying handmade, you are saying NO to sweatshop labor and to the pollution that is created shipping goods from overseas manufacturers to big box stores. You are opting out of plastic over-packaging and saying yes to to a more sustainable lifestyle.

All of the products I make have come out of things that I have made to fill our family needs. Everything that you see for sale has first been tested by me and my family, and then our friends."

I love handmade things and things that people put hard work, effort and a lot of love into! When I saw Morning Glories Handpainted Glassware, I knew this was one of those very special stores and person behind the products! I think you will agree as soon as you see her beautiful paintings on very handy and fun glassware!
I am very happy to be able to feature Morningglories1 and her glassware and was so happy that she is doing a giveaway for one of my blog readers too! I thought this would be a great feature for the "Spring Into Health" event too, since all of her glasswares can be used for "healthy" foods and drinks!

I love the color purple and I love morning glories, the way they open during the morning and close at night. I just think they are beautiful.
What inspired you to open your Etsy store? My daughter inspired me. She lives and works in New York and says Etsy is very popular there. She told me I should look into it so I did and am very impressed with what I saw. I am glad that I took her advice.
Would you like to share a little bit about yourself?
I am a mother of two grown children and grandparent to twin grandsons. I have always done crafts since my children were little. Seven years ago I found my passion in painting and I love painting on glass. I hope you enjoy my designs."

When I first saw KellysJewelry's Etsy shop, I could hardly believe my eyes! These are the neatest cutlery boards I have ever seen! You really have to see them to understand and they really are very unique and each one is one-of-a-kind!

What inspired the name of your Etsy store?
What inspired you to open your Etsy store?
-I am an art teacher and a couple of years ago I took a jewelry making class. I made jewelry for several members of my family as gifts and when they showed people that they worked with, their co-workers started requesting jewelry. I used old jewelry boxes to put my jewelry in and as a joke my husband started covering up any names on the boxes and writing Kelly's Jewelry. It was getting hard to keep track of orders and payments, so my husband set up an Etsy sight for me. I have continued using KellysJewelry for my shop even though I do have more than jewelry in the shop now. I also post some of my paintings, slumped bottles and other things that I have made
Would you like to share a little bit about yourself?
-I teach art and and am married to an elementary teacher. I have always been very interested in all types of art and love to learn new skills. I take art classes any chance I get and also teach book making classes for other art teachers occasionally. I have recently been working with oil paints, clay, and precious metals.

Anything else you would like to share with us?
-My husband and I consider the environment to be a very important issue and try to limit our waste. One way we do is by "upcycling". Even though glass can be recycled, it isn't always done and could eventually end up in a landfill. By creating something like a cutting board, that is not disposable, makes it less likely the glass will end up in a landfill than if it were made into another disposable bottle. I really enjoy slumping bottles in the kiln because I never know exactly how it is going to come out but they are always beautiful. Glass is also one of my favorite materials to use for making jewelry and I normally have items made from seaglass posted in my shop."

Description
"Recycled clear glass bottle slumped in a kiln to create this environmentally friendly functional piece of art. There is a wire hanger in the neck to make it easy to display or put away. This bottle has a light blue color where the base of the bottle was.
Bottles are cleaned and sterilized prior to placing them in the kiln. They are then heated until they reach the desired form and then cooled. Use the flat side as a cutting board. The smooth glossy side can be used as a cheese board, serving platter, spoon rest, or as a decorative dish. The glass makes it very easy to clean after use. When you are finished there is no need to find space to put away yet another dish because it will look great displayed.
