Yummy Shakes and Frosties Recipes!


We bought a Ninja food processor back around Christmas, and we have really been enjoying it! King Ed makes him a protein milk drink with it, most mornings and I love making ices in it! I want to make some frosties and smoothies in it too, so have been looking thru my recipes and found a few that a friend gave me a long time ago! they sound so good and wanted to share them here!
Fruity Frosty
1 c. fresh strawberries
1 c. pineapple juice
2 tsp. sugar
5 ice cubes
Wash strawberries and pull off caps. Slice strawberries and put in blender. Add pineapple juice, sugar, and ice cubes. Blend till smooth. Enjoy!
Strawberry Frosties
2 c. frozen unsweetened strawberries
1 3/4 c. whipped topping
1 1/2 c. water
1 1/2 c. crushed ice
1/4 c. sugar
Put all ingredients in a blender. Cover and process till smooth. Pour into glasses and serve immediately. Enjoy!
Tropical Shake
2 c. pineapple-orange-banana juice
2 scoops of vanilla ice cream
In a blender combine juice and ice cream. Blend till smooth. Pour into glasses and serve.
Serves:2
Banana Shakes
1 c. milk
2 Tbsp. peanut butter
1 Tbsp. honey
2 large ripe, frozen bananas
In a blender, combine all ingredients. Cover & process till blended. Serve immediately. Serves:2-3
